Heaps Cottage Equine Clinic is located in a picturesque area of the Greater Manchester Green belt. The environment is calming and peaceful, and is set in the heart of the countryside. Listed below are just some of the facilities we have at the Clinic and also some of the services we provide.

We have clinical procedure rooms with purpose-built stocks for restraint.

Padded knock-down room/operating theatre. This is used for surgical procedures carried out under anaesthesia, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, including arthroscopy & fracture repair. For example, castrations, rigs, splint bone repairs, skull fracture wiring, penile amputation, oviarectomy, laparoscopy.

Purpose built stables for in-patient care. The location offers a tranquil environment allowing horses to relax.

An assessment area for lameness investigations.

Trot up area.

A large 60m x 25m sand/rubber arena.

A large car park for horseboxes, vans and trailers.

An approved JMB measuring pad.
